This 24-unit collection of townhouses is located along the north bank of the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta. Previously home to a motor vehicle service centre, the site is situated along Parkdale Boulevard and borders the southern edge of the historic community of Parkdale.
To the south, the townhomes create a strong physical edge along Parkdale Boulevard, shielding the existing community from one of Calgary’s busiest residential thoroughfares. To the north, an existing laneway has been transformed into an activated mews, encouraging pedestrian connectivity between the community and the Bow River regional pathway.
Each townhome is capped with a private rooftop patio where residents can enjoy views of the Bow River and Calgary’s downtown skyline. The building’s brick facades are inspired by the Redburn Brick Factory which provided building material for many of the community’s heritage homes.
