WSL - Morrison
Morrison is a new residential tower currently under development in Calgary’s Beltline. The 33-storey building will bring a mix of market and affordable homes to support a more inclusive downtown community, with a range of unit types designed to accommodate diverse households and ways of living. At grade, the project focuses on creating an active and welcoming streetscape. A series of commercial units along 1 Street SW animate the public realm, while ground-oriented homes along 14 Avenue SW re-establish a residential frontage with private patios. A brick-clad base provides texture and continuity with the surrounding neighbourhood, reinforcing the character of nearby residential and historic buildings.
Amenity spaces are integrated throughout the building to support daily life. Lower levels include fitness and outdoor recreation spaces, while upper levels provide shared areas for working, gathering, and socializing, with access to outdoor terraces and views across the city. The tower is carefully positioned on the site to respect its context, maintaining separation from neighbouring buildings and minimizing shadow impacts on Haultain Park.
