Werklund Centre - Phase 2 - Modernization

We are delighted to announce that the team of Hindle Architects and KPMB Architects have been selected to lead the Werklund Centre Transformation (formerly Arts Commons) project in Calgary, Alberta.

“A downtown cultural institution since 1985, Werklund Centre (WCT) has ably served the city’s arts community for more than 35 years. WCT will give Arts Commons new arts, culture and event venues that are flexible and adaptable to today’s evolving entertainment and societal needs. When complete, WCT will give Calgary a modern, welcoming and inclusive arts centre and performance venue right in the heart of the city. Rolling out in two phases, WCT will see the addition of a new building and a full renovation of the existing one, and it will deliver spaces whose physical and technical offerings meet today’s high standards for inclusivity, accessibility, and health and safety.”
